Construction of two storm water retention basins

One basin is used alongside the existing autobahn storm water retention basin for the retention of rainwater from the car parks in the Rhein Neckar Arena. It is designed in the ground basin form and is close to the north east arena park structure. The surface water runs from the parking lots to the basin through drainage channels, with diameters of between 800 mm and 1,400 mm.
In addition, a further ground basin to the west of the Sinsheim-Süd car park is used for the retention of rainfall from the parking spaces of the Sinsheim-Süd industrial Park.
Reinforcement of the canal dam alongside the Neckar

Increasing the stability of the canal-side dam by creating a load filter on the dam embankment blockage prevention system base (Neckar side) . Create a 2 m high wire mesh tank wall. The excavation work included excavating the concrete foundations and alignment of the future between the existing dam and the wire mesh container wall.
