The works were divided into four construction phases, each with a length of approximately 3,000 m. The asphalt binder course was renewed before the "OPA" was installed.

- 3.3 km of main road
- 2 km of country roads
- Just under 4 km of cycle tracks and footpaths
There were also two bridge structures, a storm water basin and retention ponds, a reinforced concrete retaining wall and a 300-metre long and up to 5 m high gabion wall.
Excavators, bulldozers and dumper trucks moved a total of approximately 120,000 cubic metres of earth.
Full development with traffic
Customer: City of Heilbronn
Construction time: 15 months

Facts and figures:
Expansion and conversion of several very busy junctions while maintaining traffic (approximately 20,000 vehicles per day).
- Upgrading of the L 1100 "Neckartalstrasse" over approximately 500 m from 2 to 4 lanes, plus turning lanes
- Upgrading of one lane of the K 9560 "Wimpfener Strasse"
- Replacement of the top layers
All links to existing roads had be created at night owing to high levels of traffic.
