Construction implementation within a consortium – 50 % share

Implementation of construction work in four primary construction phases with dynamic traffic guidance 2 + 1 or 1 +2 on construction length of 6,000 m.
Installation of 15,000 t of asphalt top coat course, 110,000 m² of asphalt binder and 110,000 m² of sound-optimised stone mastic asphalt.

Expansion and conversion of the outdoor theatre forecourt and creation of a roundabout at the Congress Centrum in Heidenheim.

Noise reduction by overlay of porous asphalt (OPA)

Facts and figures:
The works were divided into four construction phases, each with a length of approximately 3,000 m. The asphalt binder course was renewed before the "OPA" was installed.

Renovation of groundwater basin and the creation of a roundabout on the B 466 in Heidenheim.

- Asphalt binder: 9,000 square metres
- Asphalt base: 10,700 square metres
- Asphalt covering layer: 16,250 square metres
- Paving stones, 2,900 m
- Sealing work and poured asphalt protective layer: 2,800 square metres
- Granite cobble stone surface: 1,000 square metres

 

 

 

B 19 local bypass, Gaisbach

A main road of national importance

Customer: Regierungspräsidium Stuttgart
Construction time: 18 months
Construction year: 2009-2010

Facts and figures:
- 3.3 km of main road
- 2 km of country roads
- Just under 4 km of cycle tracks and footpaths

There were also two bridge structures, a storm water basin and retention ponds, a reinforced concrete retaining wall and a 300-metre long and up to 5 m high gabion wall.

Excavators, bulldozers and dumper trucks moved a total of approximately 120,000 cubic metres of earth.

 

 

 

Neckartalstrasse L 1100 in Heilbronn

Full development with traffic

Customer: City of Heilbronn
Construction time: 15 months
Construction year: 2008 – 2010

Facts and figures:
Expansion and conversion of several very busy junctions while maintaining traffic (approximately 20,000 vehicles per day).

- Upgrading of the L 1100 "Neckartalstrasse" over approximately 500 m from 2 to 4 lanes, plus turning lanes
- Upgrading of one lane of the K 9560 "Wimpfener Strasse"
- Replacement of the top layers

All links to existing roads had be created at night owing to high levels of traffic.
