Waste disposal site renovation at Kanzhalde in Wernau

Facts and figures:
9-10 m deep DN 250 drainage pipes were fed into a pre-perforated DN 500 reinforced concrete duct. The construction pit for the 9-10 well shafts was produced with glide rails. Drainage gravel and lime deficient gravel were used as filler. The excavated waste was only partially used and had to be deposited elsewhere at the waste disposal site.

Expansion of the existing sorting plant to include a container storage area and a bale warehouse for recyclables. The construction of a surface sealing system in the form of a TASI control system above waste disposal site section I for waste disposal site class II
