Designed and developed by LEONHARD WEISS our “Profilia” rail profile
grinding machine [patent-pending] closes the gap between machine and
manual rail grinding for tracks and switches and has been sanctioned by
Deutsche Bahn AG. The “Profilia” enables the continuous and highest
quality machining of switches and specifically addresses:
- Profile-oriented machining of common crossings with rigid or swing nose points
- Grinding and feather edging of closed and open switch blades
- Machining of rail expansion devices
- Machining of head check damage
- Execution of grinding and deburring work and strap sanding
- Grinding of WITEC switch blades
In compliance with Ril 824.8310, we utilize all required measuring and
testing devices to guarantee the quality of our work.
