Stocktaking

This methodology is used to record the relevant aspects of the existing building by a suitable measurement process and integrate them into a model of the existing structure. During this process, data from already existing plans, geoinformation systems, geodetic records like tacheometry, laser scanning or photogrammetry are used. A combination of different sources is also possible. Stocktaking of the existing structure generates digital planning bases and is thus an important precondition for the feasibility and quality of further applications like task management or building documentation.
