Track construction, renewal and upgrades

The extension and availability of transport lines are becoming increasingly more essential today. We solve the logistical and organizational challenges in new track construction, maintenance and renovation while keeping the route available as much as possible. As a specialist, we can handle all types of track construction from ballasted track to slab track and encompasses all track gauges from standard, to mountain, cable and narrow-gauge railways.

All projects are fully implemented from A to Z – economically, reliably, and rapidly even with non-interrupted service. Our combination of skilled managers, experienced employees, innovation, and cutting edge technology enable us to master all tasks with the utmost precision.

 

RRX PA 1.2 Leverkusen

Customer: DB Netz AG
Contruction period: 39 months Year of construction: 2020–2023

In connection with the four-track upgrade between Köln and Leverkusen 6 km of track were renovated, 17 concrete points (type 760) were installed and on a stretch of 3,000 m a fourth track newly constructed with the complete substructure and a new drainage system (deep drain, drain facilities). 1,200 m of noise protection walls needed to be dismantled, in order to make space for the new construction of noise protection walls of up to 6 m of height with a total length of 2,000 m. A total of 10,000 m cable ducts, 61 signal foundations and 300 m steel pipe crossings were installed.
